Trueline Estimator — Privacy Policy

• Account information: your name, email address, and business details you provide when you create an account.
• Content you provide: the projects, estimates, client and contact details, addresses, photos, blueprints, documents, and voice recordings you upload or create in the Service.
• Usage and device information: how you interact with the app, app version, device type, and log data, collected to operate and improve the Service.
• Payment information: subscriptions are billed by Apple through your App Store account. We do not receive or store your full payment card details.

We use the information to provide and operate the Service, generate and review estimates, power in-app features including the Foreman assistant, process voice input, provide customer support, maintain security, comply with law, and improve the Service.

Trueline uses third-party AI providers to write and edit estimates, answer Foreman questions, read photos and receipts, and transcribe voice notes. These features do not run on your device, so the content they work on is sent to the providers named below. We ask for your permission in the app before any of this is sent, and you can withdraw that permission at any time under Settings, which turns the AI features off.

Anthropic PBC receives job and estimate details (job name and address, scope of work, line items, hours, and quantities), the messages you type to Foreman, photos, receipts and video frames you ask it to analyze, and the client name and contact details when they appear on the estimate or proposal being written.

OpenAI, L.L.C. receives the audio of a voice note, and only when you record one, so that it can be transcribed into text.

We do not send these providers your crew's pay rates or job cost figures, your password or payment details, or your contacts and location. Content is sent only when you use an AI feature. It is not used to train these providers' models, and it is not sold or shared with anyone else.

We use trusted third parties to run the Service, including cloud hosting and database and authentication providers, the AI and transcription providers named above (Anthropic PBC and OpenAI, L.L.C.), and Apple for subscription billing. These providers process data on our behalf under their own terms.

We do not sell your personal information. We share information only with the service providers above, when required by law, or in connection with a business transfer.

We keep your information while your account is active. You may request deletion of your account and associated data by contacting us at the email below; we will delete it except where we must retain records to comply with law.

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure.

You may access, update, or request deletion of your information, and you can manage or cancel your subscription in your App Store account settings.

The Service is intended for business use by adults and is not directed to children under 18. We do not knowingly collect information from children.

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be posted here with an updated effective date.
